Other Children's Commissioners

Australian Children's Commissioners
Every State and Territory in Australia has a Commissioner and/or Guardian who represents children and young people.

The role of each Commissioner and Guardian is slightly different and based on their particular legislation.

Despite the differences between the roles, the Commissioners meet twice a year at the meeting of Australia's Children's Commissioner and Guardians Group(ACCG).

Members of the ACCG keep in regular contact to share information and work together on specific projects to help improve the wellbeing of children and young people across Australia. Some examples of this joint work are illustrated in submissions and media releases.
