Your Call Film Competition Student Choice Award

In 2020, the Commissioner for Children and Young People is supporting the Student Choice Award of the Your Call Student Film Competition, run by Constable Care Child Safety Foundation.

The Commissioner for Children and Young People’s Student Choice Award recognises the most popular film submitted to the Your Call competition, as voted by young people.

The Your Call Student Film Competition seeks short films created by students aged 12 to 18 years that raise awareness of important public safety issues for WA young people.

The competition is open to all high school students and community groups enrolled in WA in 2020.

The 2020 competition's focus is ‘street safety’ and aims to help raise awareness of how children and young people can stay healthy and safe by knowing how to be street safe.

The Student Choice Award winner will be announced at a ceremony at the WA Screen Academy where the top 10 films will be showcased. The total prize pool for the competition is $6,000.
