Expressions of interest open for 2018 Advisory Committee

Do you identify as LGBTI? Would you like to be part of a group that can make a real difference?

Expressions of interest are now open for individual young people aged 14 to 18 years who are LGBTI and live in the Perth metropolitan area to be a member of the 2018 metropolitan Advisory Committee.

Each year the Commissioner appoints advisory committees from metropolitan Perth and regional WA who work with the office on a particular project or issue.

The committee will meet and participate in workshops on a regular basis to discuss and explore what is needed to support LGBTI children and young people and seeking the views of their peers.

The EOI period closes 5pm Monday 13 November 2017. Successful and unsuccessful applicants will be notified by the end of November.

An information sheet, expression of interest form and consent form are available.
