Youth Choices Film Competition Student Choice Award
The Commissioner for Children and Young People supports the Student Choice Award of the Youth Choices Student Film Competition, run by the Constable Care Foundation.
The Youth Choices Student Film Competition asks students aged 12 to 18 years to create short films that raise awareness of important public safety issues for WA young people.
The Commissioner's Student Choice Award recognises the most popular film submitted to the film competition, as voted by young people.

2020 Student Choice Award
The 2020 competition's focus was on ‘street safety’ and aimed to help raise awareness of how children and young people can stay healthy and safe by knowing how to be street safe.
The Student Choice award-winning film, Prefect, was made by students from Ellenbrook Christian College. The ten finalist videos can be viewed on the Youth Choices website.
