As a trans guy, I feel that if the social media ban is stupid. Mainly because it'll prevent young LGBTQ+ people from meeting people like them and people who share the same experiences as them. I remember when I was younger, I had nobody to talk to in real life about my problems with being trans so I sought support for in online communities that were on social media platforms. I get that the social media ban is meant to protect kids, but is it really meant to protect them from what's actually bad or is it just to isolate them?
