I am pleased to be writing this message during National Youth Week, a time where we celebrate the positive contributions young people make to our society.

I often hear people speak of the importance that children and young people hold to our future, which is true; however, we also need to recognise that many children and young people are doing valuable work right now for which they deserve credit.
