Commissioner's Update - December 2018

As we head towards the end of a busy year, it’s an opportune time to reflect on the past 12 months. 

As always, the highlight of my year was meeting so many children and young people from across WA who were willing to share with me about what is important to them and the challenges they are facing.

Ensuring the views of young people are heard by decision makers is an important part of my role. Throughout the year I have hosted a series of seminars, presentations, and met with schools and government and non-government organisations to talk about key issues affecting children and young people.
