Commissioner's Update - December 2021

This is my final update as Commissioner for Children and Young People as I will be retiring at the end of my current term. I look forward to welcoming Jacqueline McGowan-Jones in the coming weeks as the next Commissioner.

Over the past six years, the absolute highlight for me has been listening to the views of thousands of WA children and young people.

Our young people have different experiences and unique perspectives to adults and every one of them has important things to say. It is critical that we all listen to and take notice of their valuable ideas and insights.
