Welcome to the Commissioner's new website

Welcome to the new website of the Commissioner for Children and Young People WA.

The Commissioner for Children and Young People has released a new and improved website, providing organisations and the broader community with better access to information concerning the wellbeing of WA’s children and young people.

As well as meeting current accessibility standards, the website enables users to review the office’s information and resources under key issues and topics, including mental health, early childhood, youth justice and social media.

Commissioner Colin Pettit said the website also includes a dedicated section for children and young people.

“This section of the website has information, videos and publications about what children and young people in WA have been saying about important issues that affect them, and how my office has responded,” Mr Pettit said.

“Importantly, this area presents young people with opportunities to participate in consultations and to share comments and feedback with me.”

“Another key feature of the new website is Spotlight, where you can read stories about the many WA children and young people who are contributing positively to their communities.”

Resources

All of the significant resources, such as reports and policy briefs, are available now on the new website.

Other resources, such as submissions and speeches, are available from 2016 to 2008.

If you have questions or feedback about the new website, contact the Commissioner's office by email or phone (08) 6213 2297.
