Forum to address bullying behaviour in children and young people

The Commissioner for Children and Young People WA invites you to attend a free forum during Children’s Week, which will address bullying behaviour in children and young people.

The forum’s keynote presenter is Winthrop Professor Donna Cross from the Telethon Kids Institute and the University of Western Australia, who will review 12 years of ongoing research investigating bullying behaviour.

Professor Cross has worked extensively to improve the health of WA young people through research and community programs, with a focus on transferring knowledge from research evidence into policy and practice, and bridging the gap between university research and school and community programs. She is also a WA Ambassador for Children and Young People.

Other forum presenters include Eileen Kuruckchi, President of the WA School Psychologists Association and two young people involved in the Cyber Savvy research currently being conducted in WA schools.

The forum will be held on Tuesday, 27 October from 7.00 to 8.30pm at Churchlands Senior High School Concert Hall.
