New Commissioner for Children and Young People

The Attorney General has announced the appointment of Mr Colin Pettit as Western Australia’s Commissioner for Children and Young People.

Mr Pettit was most recently the Department of Education Secretary in Tasmania, overseeing the Tasmanian education system. Prior to this he was the Executive Director of Regional and Remote Schools with the WA Department of Education. 

Mr Pettit will formally start in the role of Commissioner on November 16, 2015.
