Nominations to close for Participate Award

Be quick, nominations for the WA Youth Awards’ Commissioner for Children and Young People Participate Award close on Thursday, 31 August 2017.

This award recognises a young person between the ages of 12 and 17 who has shown dedication to making positive change in their communities and who has also inspired other young people to get involved.

Commissioner Colin Pettit says with just over a week to go, it is now time to submit your nominations.

“I encourage the state-wide community to get behind and support those young people who are making a difference and nominate them for their valuable contributions,” the Commissioner said.

The WA Youth Awards 2016 are presented by the Youth Affairs Council of Western Australia (YACWA) in partnership with the Department of Communities.
