Seminar on Aboriginal consultation moved to larger venue
The Commissioner for Children and Young People’s upcoming seminar, Listening to the voices of Aboriginal children and young people, has been moved to a larger venue due to high demand.
The free seminar will now be held at the Perth Concert Hall’s Wardle Room on the same date and time, Wednesday, 11 November from 10am to 11.30am.
This seminar will be of great value to government and non-government agencies in their work to deliver effective, culturally secure programs and services.
Tabled in the WA Parliament in August 2015 by the Commissioner for Children and Young People WA, “Listen To Us” represents a rare opportunity for agencies to take inspiration from the views of Aboriginal children and young people about matters important to their wellbeing.
