Speaking Out Survey

The Speaking Out Survey is a comprehensive survey of children's wellbeing in WA, providing valuable insights for both government and non-government organisations to guide policies and programs.

It is the only state-wide survey in Australia tracking the wellbeing of children and young people over time. Participating schools receive a confidential report on their students' health and wellbeing, offering valuable feedback from the students' perspective.

The survey is supported by stakeholders and the community for its valuable data.

We engaged with more than 17,000 children and young people across WA in 2025. A full report will be released later in 2026 detailing the SOS data and trends.
