We do not respond to emails or letters:

  • Not related to the Commissioner’s responsibilities
  • Where the Commissioner is cc'd and is not the primary addressee
  • That are of an abusive, offensive or inappropriate nature
  • That do not identify the name of the person (or organisation) writing and their contact details.

Please note:
The Commissioner cannot investigate a complaint about another organisation's treatment of individual children, young people, families or incidents. The Ombudsman Western Australia provides advice and information to help people make complaints to WA Government organisations and to understand what happens after a complaint is made.
